Forward Rolling

Shomen Uchi Yonkajo Nage

Practiced forward rolling in pairs quite a bit. Rememered, in February, getting injured left hip and right ankle only because I was not able to do this roll right, and practicing on my own a bit. I learned from injuries that its very important for my body to learn Kihon Dosa movements and do it for techniques. Also how precious the time we spend on the mat is, we only have an hour to practice from Kihon Dosa to Techniques a class, and the actual time we could spend for basic movements is so little, yet we have to have the shape and balance to be able to do the techniques. I think thats about when I started trying to come in a bit early to spend a little bit of time before the class to work on something on my own.

Yonkajo Nage with flipping was very neat, yet the angle for Uke to do flip was more difficult than Kotegaeshi filpping.
